Slynn Electric is more than just a name. We are built on family values, integrity and loyalty – we strive to treat our valued customers with these same principles.
The name Slynn is derived from a nickname given to Aislynn Merritt, daughter and sister to co-owners Craig and Austin and cousin to Kevin.
Aislynn met Jesus in 2015 after she succumbed to her battle with brain cancer. Her determination, perseverance, and compassion for others is what Slynn Electric embraces and implements into our day-to-day operations.

Meet The Owners
Austin Merritt
Austin followed a long line of family tradition and began his electrical training at the age of 14 with an electrical contractor. After graduating high school, he spent years completing an IBEW apprenticeship program. Ausitn holds a State Master Electrical License with the State of Michigan and Electrical Contractors License.
Craig Merritt
Craig has 40+ years of electrical experience. His experience comes with a wide range of various electrical field projects, project management, as well as estimating. His IBEW affiliation has been a vital component in his career.
Kevin Merritt
Kevin has a vast knowledge of business structure and business operations. He currently owns several small businesses and proves to be a large asset to our company.
